FAQ - Programme Design

How do you decide the best programme for each client to follow?

Each and every client of mine is taken through a thorough assessment which dissects every area of their muscular strength, muscular balance and body composition. The results of your assessment provide the backbone to your programme.

The assessment is divided into two sections; first, the muscular strength and balance test which start with some select upper and lower body strength tests. These highlight tight, weak and imbalanced muscles groups. Common imbalances include; weakness in the lower back, buttocks and hamstrings, tightness across the chest and shoulders, poor squatting technique from a lack of flexibility, stronger pushing strength than pulling and poor lower body strength verses upper body.

The second part is a bio signature assessment (created by world famous strength coach Charles Poliquin www.charlespoliquin.com). This involves taking 12 manual body fat readings from all over the body. By looking at the relationship between each reading, I can tell why you store body fat in certain places. Fat storage relates specifically to hormonal imbalance. I create specific nutrition and often supplementation programmes for my clients based on their bio signature results.

The assessments allow me to work specifically on individual requirements. This level of detail is required if you are looking to achieve serious results!
