Core Conditioning
All successful exercise programmes must include exercises
to strengthen your core! Whether you goal is to lose weight, improve strength or
sports performance, your body will function more efficiently if your core is strong
–it’s as simple as that!
Your core is made up of many different muscles which act as a ‘natural weight
belt’ around your stomach, these muscles act as major stabilisers to the spine!
People with weak core muscles will often have bad posture and back pain.
I have worked successfully with hundreds of people looking to lose weight and improve
strength, simply by strengthening their core muscles, adjusting their diet and taking
them through specific exercise programmes.
In my initial assessment, one of the
main areas I look at is ‘strength of the core muscles’. I have specific
programmes which I take people through to improve the functional strength of their
core muscles. Some of the results you can expect to see having strengthened your
core include: weight loss, strength gains, sports performance, reduced back pain
and improved posture.
